1. Plug earphones or headphones into recorders output jack. Usually
labeled "EAR" on recorder.

2. Press the "record button" or key on the recorder to begin recording.

3. Listen in the earphones to see if you can hear "live audio" / real time
coming through. If you can hear what is being recorded through the
earphones, the E.F.P. will work fine. If you cannot hear anything, this
means the recorder does not have live audio monitoring and the
E.F.P. will not work properly.
Most recorders work fine with the E.F.P. but in rare cases, some
recorders do not have live monitoring. We are continually adding to
our list of recorders that we know offer this feature and work with the
E.F.P.

Recorders with live audio monitoring:
* It is necessary that the recorder being used with the E.F.P.
have "live audio monitoring" for the E.F.P. to work properly.

The best way to see if your recorder has live audio monitoring
is to do the following:
If your recorder is not listed here, check to see if it has live monitoring.
If it
does and it is not shown above, feel free to email us by simply clicking the
"
Contact us" button at the bottom of this page so we can add it to our list.
If you have any questions regarding "live audio monitoring" also feel free to
send us an email.
